Apathetic uninformed voters; poor quality bought-off candidates; lazy legislators; power-mad presidents; massive bureaucracy; gobs of lobbyist, special interest, NGO money; corrupt judges; and a too big to fail system have betrayed America at every level. The courts can’t rein in a system that doesn’t respect the rule of law. And our system does not, not anymore.
Our republic began with an educated, informed and involved citizenry and will perish from lack of same. We consented to supporting public education tasked with providing this necessary product and now that it sees its mission is to bring it down something rather drastic needs doing or we are toast
For a layperson not well schooled in the language of a lawyer, it is not easy to follow. The deeper problem is most of the regulations are not written by DC government lawyers, but by lawyers employed by special interest groups to carve our and codify a revenue stream that maintains the special interests bottom line. Time and again this is the ploy that is used to maintain market control. The Donut Hole Legislation is a good example. The Senator who introduced the legislation that Congress dutifully passed, resigned and was hired to run the Lobbying Group for Big Pharma at $1 million salary per year. Merck hired away the Vaccine lady at the FDA for $1 million dollar salary to run Merck vaccine program. She is now back at the FDA and can not be fired. What a wonderful world of legal manipulation for profit.
The word...lawyer. As long as our laws are written in language they invent, and are argued by lawyer in same, we will never have clarity or anything resembling fairness. I think there needs to be citizen commissions who are tasked with making our laws and the outpouring of these agencies (the, fewer of them the better) comprehensible and conforming to the principles of natural law which our courts seem to have abandoned
Thank you for this analysis. Structural information that a layperson like myself does not know or appreciate. One of my big concerns is the current crop of judges at all levels. Would also help our futures if we did not generally have a manipulative, bought off media that rarely discusses things of substance affecting us logically.
Thank you for this very insightful analysis of where we are; accurately generalizing categories from specific instances is not an easy task particularly in such a complex arena. We can thank your resignation from ACIP for allowing this valuable message to be heard. Well done!
Thank you Dr. Malone. Your essays are not just informative and substantiated. The federal bureaucracy and its' supporters, over time, have seized the opportunity to usurp power from the uninvolved governed. That's the way I see it. I share as much information as I can when I can. My recent comments involve how creepy is the fact that there are rainbows everywhere. Navigation apps don't list a churches category in places of interest.
Thank you for your support, Mike. Sincerely, thank you. It is paid supporters like yourself who get us up in the early AM and keep us working to provide quality, insightful commentary.
<<In the span of a year, three major federal actions illustrated the shift.
The Environmental Protection Agency announced that it never possessed the authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from cars and trucks, despite exercising that power since 2009.¹
The Supreme Court blocked a federal vaccine mandate that would have applied to much of the American workforce.¹¹
A presidential order directed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to reduce the childhood vaccine schedule.¹⁴>>
Not a gotcha question, just a little confused: Didn't the Supreme Court block the federal vaccine mandate in 2022? Doesn't this fall outside the span of a year?
I remember listening to Sotomayor and Breyer in exchanges with attorneys, and being dismayed by the shallowness of their consideration with respect to fundamental, individual medical sovereignty. As Rand Paul has noted in so many words, there's no more fundamental right than that to choose what is injected into our bodies.
I can see this is a lengthy post for later, and Aaron Siri is pretty upset about a filing from the WH about not giving religious exemptions, (this is the short version). He is on X talking about the filing. HighWire Talk.
Thank you for this needed discussion! I definirely need to further reflect on the topic.
On the other hand, for me, it dredges up severe disfunctions that heavily need to be addressed today.
I'll start with citizen issues. Focus. With the "help" of our educational system, imo citizen focus is seldom directed to long term needs and outcomes. Prudent debt management appears to be ignored. Discretionary desires are overriding prudent debt management. Local example - huge debt. Moodys (?) downgrade. Proud reports of opening of major skate park, pickleball courts, tennis courts, et al and night lighting. Advocating for more largess and higher taxes.
So, local officials recommend electing officials who will continue the largess. The voting citizenry takes that advice. Scourges are dismissed. Longterm societal needs are shrugged away.
Next the legislators. Initial campaigns built on what? There are a few that do offer responsible, informed performance. There are too many who would play up with goodies. There are those who would, like CA (enlist local homeless to facilitate votes to enable their party of grifters to continue in power) tip the vote.
Legislators (none or perverted) performance. One has only to watch hearings or note Thune's impacts, to recognize our populous sorry mistakes with their votes. Then add the legislators objectives to avoid accountability on any issue their voters might find offensive from.
To sum it up - what steps can we champion to promote better focused voter assessments and demands?
What steps can we take to demand responsible, capable, statesmen like legislators to select from and support?
Very big orders! But painfully needed for our longterm survival?
The Yin Yang of authority. I so like what POTUS is currently getting done with Executive Orders, but it is terrifying to contemplate that authority being controlled by the likes of Kamala Harris. With Democrats at the helm our country we would be overrun with immigration, more manufacturing would be sold to cheap overseas labor with lawlessness, fraud and abuse becoming the norm. DJT is a blunt instrument with a larger than life ego. Yet he is, I believe, the best manager this country has ever had. The real threat to our environment is not fossil fuel emissions. It is human population. 300,000 years to reach one billion. The next 300 years brought our numbers to eight billion. Regardless of religious doctrine, that population curve is unsustainable. As the biomass on earth increasingly takes human form, it comes at the expense of other life forms.
RWM is one of many fine thinkers driven into exile by government's brutal disregard of truth. These exiles have been finding each other, and are now collaborating to lay the foundations for a better world. I am seeing names, like "Mises" and "Hayek", in the writings of these exiles. Government repression is sometimes a gift to liberty. The Emergence of Freeorder glimmers on a horizon visible to some. Thank you, Robert.

Myself as well, internationally too.

How about the one we keep hearing that the IRS doesn’t have the authority to tax us? 🙂

Many thanks again for this wakeup call!

Malthus published that overpopulation hoax in "An Essay on the Principle of Population", in 1798. It is as wrong today as it was in 1798.
Thank you, Dr. Malone. And thank you, Dr. Jill Malone, for taking up the slack at the farm so that Robert can accomplish a feat like this.
Jill did her part as editor for this one

Does this have anything to do with "ISRAEL" owning the USA Congress and President,
with there "AIPAC" and "ADL" owning Big media , Big Banking, Big Pharma
Controled by Elite Zionist JEWS from the HOHOHOAX Crowd to the Chosen =
Chosen for the lake of Fire !
I wish these were accompanied by a condensed version. I simply don’t have time to read it all!
