Amendments 453 must be withdrawn from the Appropriations bill. We have been down this road before with the Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 and we see where that has gotten us. I beg the Appropriations Committee to remove that amendment immediately. Additionally, I urge that we boycott Bayer and Monsanto products. They are not a moral or ethical company.

I'm going to suggest, if this passes, that boycott isn't going to occur in just the purchase of the product but anyone who can't make a public statement they commit to not using it (like seed companies who took the non-gmo seed pledge) may also be lumped into that bucket. I know this threatens some farmers. However, the writing has been on the wall and more and more farmers themselves are making advances and progress with soil scientists on how to farm without the chemical burden (and turn a higher profit than with them) drawing them out of the cycle of having to use more and more chemicals. With the unpredictability of weather issues, evidence of harm and progress in a new path forward, farmers could be caught in the middle as the 'worlds split', one being life supportive and intertwined with nature's principles and one supporting harm and divorced from nature's principles.

You raise good points, Lisa. Farmers need support to do the right kind of farming that is both productive and maintains the health of the soil. I know much of our soil has been depleted of nutrients necessary for healthy foods and farmers have been subsidized to grow certain crops. We have to change that. Chemical companies’ goal is simply to make money at any cost. This must change.

BAYER PRODUCTS? I don't see how that can happen.. I would LOVE TO BOYCOTT BAYER PRODUCTS but I need them. I am always in pain.. it is just a matter of HOW MUCH PAIN on any given day. My knees are shot etc.. EVERYONE IS PAIN ALL THE TIME if one is over 40 and even then.. people who work hard.. even just sitting on a computer all day is rough on one's tush and neck: I prefer to sit up.. and have good posture. MONSANTO.. yeah.. that could go for sure. I have no answers.. for that one

I am so sorry to hear of your pain. The best product I have used for pain is DMSO. My husband uses it for his arthritic pain in his hands and feet, and it has relieved the pain and spasms in my feet from neuropathy. DMSO, dimethyl sulfoxide, is a natural product, from wood, that is used in many medicines to make them work better. You merely rub the liquid over the area where you have pain and the pain subsides. I first found out about it from A Midwestern Doctor, AMD, who writes a substack, The Forgotten Side of Medicine. It can be purchased on Amazon,as Nature’s Gift. I would recommend you read his Substacks on DMSO. Good luck to you.

There are lots of anti-inflammatory options besides bayer products. Also, finding root causes driving inflammation is worth the effort. Some believe getting the morning sun and sporadic exposure to the full spectrum thru the day will also address inflammation... and that one is free 😉

There seems to be 2 problems with glyphosphate. First being application. Second consumption of treated foods. The stuff was/is sprayed pretty indiscriminately. Brazoria county road crews used to spray roadsides with the stuff. Seem some sort of regulations could be imposed there. As to consumption, its use as a dessicant leaves it open for lawsuits using the evidence of harm accumulated during all previous lawsuits as not covered by pesticide legislation

…………

Don't give pesticide companies a free pass to poison Americans. Remove Section 453.

Bayer’s sole motive for Section 453 is immunity from lawsuits, though they know its dangers to the environment and health risks to our citizens. Please pass the word to reject Section 453 for our sake—MAHA.

The funny thing is, Jess Rowland from the EPA was supposed to be policing Monsanto, but court documents revealed emails from him corresponding with Monsanto employees. They showed he used ghostwritten scientific studies to pass the safety of glyphosate through the EPA. Here’s more info on glyphosate in my post: https://open.substack.com/pub/betsyshanley/p/glyphosate-and-its-disruption-of?r=5okhkn&utm_medium=ios

Representative: someone or something that represents another or others: such as. (1). Someone who represents a constituency as a member of a legislative body. (2) : a member of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress or state legislature.

I thought that we voted and elected our representatives to represent us. Along with representing us was the idea they would act in a way to protect their constituents. I didn’t find anywhere in the definition of representative to first enrich yourself with lobbyists money, to hell with the people you represent, take care of yourself first. These agencies that have been put in place were there to protect us, not to profit personally. It really is tiring, fighting these people every single day to just do their job.

I have to mention Bondi, Patel and Bongino again. Here Tulsi Gabbard has put her life on the line for all of us, and a whole day has gone by and they do nothing! They were put into those positions to clean up this corruption, the worst corruption ever in the history of America. Crickets. Why don’t they resign and allow people in those positions that will do the job. If this is allowed to exist we are finished. If Pam Kash and Dan refuse to do their job and sit in their office picking their noses while the country burns we are done.

In his book Government Gangsters Kash spoke of arresting all of these traitors, now with everything handed to him on a silver platter let’s see what the man does. I’ll be the first one to say amen you did your job finally. If not I really hope the money was worth it. J.Goodrich

I agree…protecting its citizens against a German based company is a no brainer—especially when they admit that they are wanting immunity for the products they peddle to Americans.

Wish you would find another horse to whip James. Bondi is doing precisely what she was brought in to do...cleaning out the DOJ. I could care less if that list ever sees the light of day because nothing will happen to those on it...you know that. But 100,000 parasites removed from the DOJ is the kind of heavy lifting I want to see and if bongino has his feelings so badly hurt simply by being ignored maybe he should quit and stay out of the way of the hard work that is being done by Bondi et al.

I'll add this. This administration is in the process of attempting what many consider impossible...undoing the damage to our Constitution wrought by over a century of progressive insults. Herculean task to accomplish but even more so to cement these changes into permanence. And that will take cooperation from many areas where it is not wise to induce any backlash from embarrassed or otherwise compromised legislators, jurists or other DC critters needed for this transformation. Politics is a dirty business, anyone saying otherwise either lying or hopelessly naive. So we simply have to satisfy ourselves with the least dirty helping offered and hope for the best.

I’m not talking about the 1000 plus kids raped by the rich donors that seems to be acceptable. This is Obama, Susan Rice, Clapper, Brennan, McCabe, Comey etc. They all conspired to destroy Trumps presidency on January 8th at a meeting in the White House. There are hundreds of documents, notes, memos, proving what they did. They put our country through hell up until this day. They lied over and over again about their Russian collusion hoax. Did you see Tulsi Gabbards interview on Fox? She handed Pam the AG star all the evidence. Are we going to ignore this also? Well then the deep state can do whatever the hell they want to. If they allow the deep state to do to us anything they want I’m done fighting. Patel wrote a book Government Gangsters, it was about this!!!!!! And arresting all of these players!!!!! What are we to turn a blind eye to raping children and now ignore all the evidence Obama did in the coup to take down Trump. By the grace of God Trump survived the deep states 2 assassination attempts. This is what happens when you let all of this go. You watch corruption breeds more corruption. Tulsi Gabbard is F’d for doing the right thing. I’m whipping the horse that needs to be whipped!!!!

Hey if Pam takes away their passports, which she should have already done, and starts indicting all of these horrific traitors, I will be the first one to say thanks for doing your friggen job. A cursory study of Monsanto shows its lack of concern for the environment. They caused a chemical hazard in Tennessee in Columbia, which they had to pay to clean up, after they packed up and left. I do not know the result, but I’m thinking the land is worthless.

This is their Mode of Operation—make money, destroy the environment and people’s health, pay out a settlement, then move on to their next money making deal. Disgusting.

Just read an article about the Amish in Indiana whose children do not have extensive allergies like the average child today. Difference home grown food without toxins/chemicals. Bayer et al. don't care because they grow their business by pushing more and more chemicals into our homes, food and environment. Not a bee exists in my back yard because I border on a golf course. All our towns and villages should be growing clover on public and park land. Can't properly pollinate home gardens without ample bees. Our food system is exposed to over 10,000 chemicals versus 400 in Europe.

Lawyers and big law are always eager to find another rich company to bleed dry. When the never ending injury advertising, and class action suits are stopped or controlled, and the legal firms have to compensate their victims when they pursue frivolous claims simply to coerce settlement maybe I’ll get on board.

As a contractor, I was sued far too often by lawyers pushing ridiculous claims all to force a settlement cheaper for me than paying legal fees

I’m all for accountability, but I’m sick of the parasites in the legal profession getting wealthy while costing all the rest of us by making products more expensive. Just look at the labels on a six foot ladder, or a windshield sunshade….

If someone is 'hurt' by a product, then let their medical bills be paid. No amount of money will return their health. With all of the toxins in our environment, who is to say which toxin actually made you sick? The lawyers don't know, the doctors don't know, and most of the time the sick person doesn't know. Let's clean up everything and stop blaming others.

So just yesterday I was on my front porch, thinking, and a mosquito landed on me and I killed it stat with my hand. One of the smaller ones. So I reached over for my "non toxic bug" spray and sprayed it on my feet: I read on it NON TOXIC SAFE FOR USE FOR CHILDREN.

Then is extra small print: Toxic, contains Deet. don't inhale or spray in eyes sideways on the bottle. no kidding.

The majority of "We The People" are asleep to this and other bills. The rest of the idiots in Congress and the Senate don't read between the lines to see the plan to get immunity for the makers of poison in fear of hurting the farmers." We the People" let this happen by not educating ourselves and staying on top of current policy being shoved thru. Lack of serious concern for our health has allowed this to happen. That is why I support Zach Bush M.D. He has been working his tail off with farmers and local people (around the world) to educate and eradicate this carcinogen. He is someone to support financially... I do! At least I can trust that what he is doing at the ground level can and does have an impact.

I also called my state representative who is in the committee last night leaving a message. Aftering reading this substact, I called again thinking to add some more points... but his voice-mail box was full...that's overnight! They have got to be getting calls similarly to RFK Jr's appointment 👏👏👏👏
